September 30th
Socials 9/10 Core
Today we continued our discussion based class and we looked at "Hot Topics" to Canadian Teens.

This afternoon we walked to Heritage Park as part of Orange Shirt Day in memory of Philis Jack Webstad and her Orange Shirt that was taken from her when she was sent away to a Residential School.

Today we just worked on our 4th Journal Entry
•1) What have you learned this week in regards to First Nations Stewardship of the land?
•2) What practices do you think we could implement in our daily lives to live more sustainably?
Students then were given time to work on their Project.
