December 3rd

Today students looked at how a Bill becomes Law in Canada and then answered some questions in regards to the different types of readings and what occurs at each stage.

They then were introduced to their government workbook project.

Today we explored some of the Causes of WWII including the Treaty of Versailles, the Alliance System, the Rise of Dictators, and the League of Nations. Afterwords we watched a film series entitled "WWII in Color - Episode 1 - The Gathering Storm"

December 4th

Today students participated in two Kahoots on Canadian Government to prepare them for the upcoming test on Friday, December 7th. They then were given time in class to complete their Govt Workbook and to work on their Study Guide.

Today completed the film entitled "WWII in Color - Episode 1 - The Gathering Storm"

Afterwords students participated in a Kahoot to prepare them for the test this upcoming Friday, December 7th.

The test will focus on key themes during the 1919-1939 period focusing on the Treaty of Versailles, the Rise of Dictators, the Map of Europe and other events.

Afterwords they worked on Two Primary Documents - One was Analyzing a Speech by Hitler, the Other is the Massacre at Nanking.
