Today we finished the film "Schindler's List" afterwords students worked on their missing assignments.

We began watching a Film "The Journey of Natty Gann" which is set during the Great Depression. It follows the story of a girl Natty Gann whose father is out of work in Chicago. He finds work in Washington State and is forced to leave. Eventually Natty decides to go looking for him and begins her journey. Through Shanty towns and riding the rails, the Journey of Natty Gann offers a visual of the hard times that many endured during the 1930's.

Today we began our exploration of the Rwandan Genocide.

Afterwords students were tasked with creating a Map of Europe.

For the map be sure to include each of the countries listed on the right of your map, a compass, and include two extra boxes: One for the Axis powers that joined during WWII and one for the Allied Powers that Joined during WWII.
