October 29th

Today we began our unit on Genocide. We looked at the first three stages of Genocide and then students worked on their workbooks.

Today we finished our exploration of the Canadian Great Depression.
Students began working on a DBQ as well as a Poster.

Today we just took a relaxing day as it was Halloween. Depending on the class you were in we watched three different films: A Nightmare before Christmas, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Monster Squad.

Today the students received a worksheet on some primary documents from the 1930's during the Great Depression. They are analyzing and interpreting a number of different letters.
