October 1st

Today we reviewed the test from Friday. We also began work on a new unit - Physical Geography, exploring natural disasters and how they occur in the world.

Today we continued watching the Great Gatsby. The students are filling in notes on the film and making connections between what they already know about the 1920's and what they are seeing in the film, to decide whether or not the film is an accurate or inaccurate portrayal of the 1920's.

Today we finished our lecture on Plate tectonics, we did a quick lab using Oreo Cookies to demonstrate how the plate's work.
