Today we went over the beginning parts of 'A Midnight Summer's Dream' The students were introduced to the plot, setting and characters involved in the play, as well as tasked with looking up some new vocabulary words.

Today we read Chapter 13/14 of the Hunger Games and worked on some questions.

Today we finished WWI by looking at the battles of 1918 as well as examining the Treaty of Versailles. Afterwords the students were tasked with going to the computer lab to begin a research project.

Today in Socials we worked on looking at the establishment of a Colony in New France by Samuel De Champlain. He established the colony in 1608 and it flourished under the usage of the Fur Trade.

The students were tasked with reading from the Crossroads textbook and answering some questions on the fur trade.
