Today we discussed the issue of cyber-bullying in our society by exploring a PPT and having a discussion. Afterwords we began watching the film, 'Cyberbully' by ABC and the students answered some questions on the movie.

Today we read Chapter 5+6 of the Hunger Games in Class. The students were tasked with answering some questions on the two chapters as well as working on a figurative language document.

Today the students were given 30 minutes to finish their test from last class.

Afterwords they were tasked with finishing up any missing assignments as well as working on a Map of Europe in order to understand many of the countries that existed in the area at the time.

Today we looked at the explorer, 'Ponce de Leon' and his quest for finding the Fountain of Youth.

His story can be found here.

We also spent sometime looking at the Columbian Exchange, which was an exchange of foods, ideas, and diseases brought into the New World from the Old World.
