Today students finished up the exploration of the history of Canada by looking at the trans-continental railroad. Afterwords we did a Kahoot on the History of Canada in order to review for the test on Friday.

English 8

Today we began our new unit on the Hunger Games. Students were introduced to the novel through a powerpoint, as well as doing a map on Panem.

Today we finished looking at 'Remember the Titans'. Followed by a discussion on how to remove prejudices and stereotypes in our society.

Today we looked at some of the explorers that travelled the world.

Students were tasked with reading about De Gama's and Magellan's travels
