Students began working on a creative writing unit. They did a fun activity in class where they drew a picture of an object, then the next person wrote a sentence for that image. The next person then had to re-create an image based on that sentence, and so on, and so forth.

They were tasked with writing an assignment over the holidays about what they would do if they were "home alone" for a week. They were asked two write two entries, 1 paragraph each of what their day would look like.

Afterwords we began "Home Alone" so they could get a general idea of some of the fun things that people get up to.
