December 1st - Day 1 - Be safe tonight at the Candlelight Parade!

English 9

Today we worked on ACROSTIC poems. These are vertical poems about a person, place, animal, object, or really anything. Students were asked to create (3) Acrostic Poems - 1 about a Poet. 1 about a Disney/Movie character. 1 about a Romeo and Juliet character.

Today students worked at finishing their Poetry Booklet. These will be due Tuesday, December 5th.

Today we finished the American Revolution by looking at the battles of Lexginton and Concord, Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, and Yorktown.

Students then worked on answering some questions on the American Revolutionary War.

December 4th - Day 2

Students began work on a Poster Project for the Anglo-Saxons. They will need to submit this by Friday, December 8th.
